The latest Thornton Masters Swimming news...
THORNTON MASTERS POST HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA! Join us Saturday, January 28 at 6:00pm at the Hunters Glen Community Clubhouse at 940 E. 130th Ave. for our annual post holiday swim party. Please bring a dish and/or drinks to share. Families welcome. A small donation to help cover the clubhouse rental is appreciated :). We are looking for a new Logo for the team so put on those artistic hats of yours and bring a logo to the party. There will be a prize for the most creative logo! Hope to see you there!
VMAC IS CLOSED DEC. 23- JAN.2 VMAC is closed the week after Christmas however we were able to get pool time at Thornton Rec. Center Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5:30AM.
2012 STATE CHAMPS HELD AT VMAC: The 2012 Short Course Championships will be held at VMAC this March! Let's make sure and make a good showing so that we can show everyone what an amazing team we are!
WELCOME COACH EMILY: Jodi has decided to hang up her coaching hat and just swim! Thank you Jodi for all of your hard work, we enjoyed having you as a coach. We welcome Coach Emily Austin as our new Assistant Coach. Emily started with us this fall. We enjoy having you Emily....welcome to the team!

Workout Emphasis
- December - Swimmers choice - send in your workouts to Coach Kevin!
- January - Start ramping up the yards in preparation for State.
- February - Just keep swimming......just keep swimming. (Make sure to look half dead or Kevin will make you work even harder!!) :)
- March - Swim hard, eat, sleep, taper, swim fast at State.
